A Welcome from Julie

Hey, thank’s for stopping by my blog. Let me share a little about myself.

I am a wife and a highly driven nonstop mother of four boys, ages six to twenty-one. Braving motherhood one season at a time has been interesting and has kept me both on my toes and knees. Although challenging motherhood has been nothing short of amazing.

I have completed two years of ministry development, worked at my home church as our lead Pastors administrator, & interned under Reverend Joel Johnson. In addition to that, I have also led the Women’s Ministry, Connect Groups, and outreaches at our home church. Before having my last child I had hosted and spoken at women workshops as well as district conventions. All while doing that I decided to start writing my first book in December of 2019. In my free time, I feed my competitive nature by pushing my body to new limits at CrossFit. When I am not at the gym I enjoy spending quality time with my boys and my husband.

This blog is birthed from a place of restoration. To share truth, laughter, and lessons from behind the “less attractive side” of motherhood-what others would call a mess. It’s my hope that you enjoy our time together as we do this thing called life.

Interrupted: A Thirty-Day Devotional for the Busy Mom

Interrupted offers a devotional for mothers that comes from what appear to be failures but are really just life’s interruptions. With constant distractions and endless to-do lists, how do we meet God amid the chaos? With an undying passion for God’s Word and life, author Julie Whitley, a mother of four, shares what some call a “messy” perspective of motherhood. But we need to remember the obstacles we face as women and mothers have no bearing on the God we serve. The obstacle ahead of us is not greater than the God within us.

When you inherit something from a loved one that has passed or are given something of value from a person you love, that item becomes an irreplaceable treasure.
